Have you noticed many of my chapter titles have a familiar feeling to them? Can’t put your finger on it… or, hey! I know where that’s from…? Uh, huh… Could it be because I often name them after song or movie titles, lyrics, or popular sayings? It’s part of me. I do it in real life. If someone does or says something that reminds me of a movie, I’ll blurt out the title. A song? I’ll start singing it. A line or lyric? Same thing. When it comes to naming my chapters, I do it as a type of ode to whatever I’m snagging. You’ll never find any chapters named after anything I don’t like, that’s for sure.
