It’s the Season 2 Episode 1 premiere! She’s Baaaack! That’s right, my friends, fans, followers, et al! I’m back from my two-month hiatus.
I must say, it’s good to be back, though I’m remembering all too quickly how much time this all takes. Note to self: Take care to have better time management.
The break was not all fun-filled and action-packed, but it definitely had its moments and was eventful on many fronts. I shan’t bore you with the details, except to say, I’m rather insistent on living in the present—or, at least trying. Reeeeally hard. But, I will say… hot water on demand is a beautiful, modern luxury we often take for granted.
WIP
I got quite a lot of work done on my current work A Woman Like Eve (AWLE), but there’s much more to do. Let me say this… I’m quite confident that when finished, it’s going to be a good read. That’s the goal, at any rate.
You’ll notice I’ve made some changes to the podcast, with more on the way. I thought about working on it all throughout the hiatus, but I knew if I began tinkering with it long before I actually did, I wouldn’t have made a fraction of the progress I made on AWLE. I know myself enough to know that. So, as the episodes tick by, I’ll continue to tinker with bits and pieces of it.
Going forward…
I’m mulling over whether I should continue posting on video sites. If I’m honest… it involves an awful lot of work/time I’d rather spend on writing/editing, so… I will continue to mull on it. After all, I’m producing a podcast, not a video, and the reason I left producing videos in favor of making a podcast is… it takes a ton of production time—time better used elsewhere.
At this moment, it’s absolutely pouring and has done so off and on since yesterday morning. Rain distracts me terribly because it makes me want to curl up with a blanket and a good movie. It’s hard to concentrate as I battle that beckoning to my comfy zone.
