Holy Chickens!—Djuna Shellam The Write OWL—Episode 7

Welcome to this Wednesday Djuna Shellam The Write OWL episode—Holy Chickens! In this episode, number 7 to be exact, I talk about holy chickens,—real experiences in my life—and how I might possibly incorporate them into my writing. You see, for me, writing is an interesting combination of abstracts of my actual life experiences and my overactive imagination. This episode is a perfect example of how observances in my everyday life might get integrated into my writing.

Chances are good you won’t be able to truly appreciate it until it happens. Exactly when it will happen is something even I cannot predict, I mean, it could be an hour from now, or ten years from now—only the shadow knows. I suppose you’ve just got to trust that it does happen.

Something in my life will make an impression on me and then I’ll either use it right away in some obscure fashion, or I’ll file it away for another day, or year, or decade, even.
