In all honesty, I desire to spend less time internet socializing and more time creating. I enjoy connecting with my readers and fans, but I do feel the work is more important than the “play,” though it seems social sites can be less about socializing and more about networking.

Balance

Still, sometimes finding a balance between producing work and marketing work is difficult to achieve. It can be for me, anyway. I enjoy a good time and socializing, but without good work to talk about and, yes, promote, then… what is there?

Choices

I have chosen to no longer participate with any social sites that censor legal content or ideas simply because they disagree with the content or ideas, or it somehow offends them. I believe in free expression as long as that free expression is legal and doesn’t physically harm me or others. If any content, ideas, or information offend me, I still have choices and am still a free American (though, if things continue as they are, not for long). I can scroll past, mute said content, dispute information with facts, or stop using that particular site. My. Choice.
